IBikeLondon are proud to support the global movement Kidical Mass, with a family friendly ride to celebrate!
We will be bringing our epic bike party back to the streets of central London with a kids disco twist. This is a fully marshalled ride, with experienced IBikeLondon Cycle Marshals.
THEME: ‘The Natural Environment’ : We’d love it if you’re able to dress up and/or decorate bikes – maybe as a tree, or a panda, or a lion – whatever you like! There’ll be face painting stamps at the start for everyone to use too😀
We’ll be gathering at the South Bank at 11:00, and setting off at 11:30 promptly. The temperature may be hot so make sure to bring something refreshing with you! It may also rain, so bring wet weather clothing too!! Toilets available at venues & surrounding cafes at the start.
We’ll be finishing at Lambeth’s (really brilliant) Car Free Day event! They have skateboarding, adapted bikes, smoothie bike, Dr Bike, circus performer.. .and more…!!
GETTING THERE: You can join one of the local feeder rides into town (more details to follow) or take the train or tube. On Sundays, cycles can be taken by rail (eg London Bridge, Blackfriars, Waterloo or Waterloo East stations) and on a number of tube lines including the district and circle lines (eg Westminster and Blackfriars stations are step-free). And remember, if you arrive early, you can always go to Jubilee Gardens for the play area.
PLAYLIST: IBikeLondon will keep the atmosphere going with music from our fleet of Disco Bikes. We’ll have plenty of classic young people’s tunes for you to ride along to!

The group ride will be at a relaxed pace, with all ages and abilities welcome! Bring food and drinks – the ride is likely to finish approx 13:00, ready for lunch!

JOINING THE EVENT: This is a free event and everyone can join, why not invite some friends! Please register so we have an idea of numbers.
COVID-19: We all still need to be aware that Covid hasn’t disappeared, so please do take precautions to minimise spread.
RUNNING LATE: We will be running Glympse for this event & will post a link nearer the time.
SAFETY: We encourage everyone to ride safely, legally, and look out for each other. You will be responsible for your own safety and we are not responsible for any injuries or accidents during the ride.
CHECK YOUR BIKE: Please make sure your bike is in good condition and check your brakes and tyres. If you have a mechanical problem or a puncture during the ride give our marshals a shout and someone will help you.
WEATHER: If the ride has to be cancelled due to terrible weather we will update the event page 12 hours in advance.
